But, the common mistakes you must be aware of so that you can avoid them during preparing for the MBBS entrance exam.

Common mistakes that happen and to be avoided while preparing for NEET:
  • Focusing on a single subject and neglecting the others is a very common, yet vital mistake by candidates. So, what should you do? In the entrance test, there will be Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. Suppose, you have a good interest in biology and you do not like chemistry at all. So, according to your likes and dislikes, if you start preparing for NEET, you will repent after the exam for sure. Therefore stop focusing on a single subject and study all of them. Many students do not care about choosing the right study materials. Like every human being is not the same, so are not every study material. Each of the books published for the NEET preparation guide is different. Choosing some standard study materials is an important step in the exam preparation.
  • Lack of concentration before the exam is a severe mistake that everyone should avoid. Focusing on other unnecessary kinds of stuff during preparation is the step that will take you nowhere. While preparing for the entrance exams, you need to focus on the study materials without doing on other activities.
  • Some students do not like to analyze question papers of previous years and solve the problems from there. This is a vital mistake. Year-wise question papers give an idea about how the pattern of questions might be found in the entrance exam papers. Solving them with accuracy and precision within the stipulated time is a good step in the exam preparation.
  • To be clear about what problems a candidate faces while preparing for the exam is a good step. But, the mistake that most candidates make is hesitation in sharing the problems. This creates a problem of problems that remain unsolved. In turn, the final entrance exam creates a big hurdle that cannot be overcome. Try to avoid hesitation, if you cannot understand anything or facing some problem.
  • Don’t overthink and avoid negative thoughts. ‘What if I cannot clear the exam?’ ‘I am not like our first boy, he is talented. I cannot make this entrance exam.’ ‘It is impossible for me to crack this test.’ Try to avoid these kinds of negative thoughts and practice the study materials or the lessons learned again and again. Listen to the teacher or the guide who is helping you to prepare for the exam.
